WTF? Lord, in one day in Dallas, you can go from Equinox Fitness (awesome facility all the way around) to Sushi Zushi (pretty looking, but pretty damn overrated sushi), all the way to HELL because KIRK CAMERON IS PREACHING AT FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF DALLAS OH WTF THIS IS INSANE, all in the course of about 3 hours. The Katy Trail - Dallas - To Be Continued
The absolute best thing that can be said about Dallas right now is that it contains the Katy Trail, a reclaimed rail right-of-way that runs for 3.5 miles through the direct center of the City, from Downtown all the way north to SMU. It’s a walk and bike combo, and it is awesome, and it is packed with people, and it has spurred development all along it. Quite like the High Line in NYC, but...

This Is Why They Are The New York Times And You... →
I am on the plane to Rio tonight. But I will not be staying there long. I know I’m having this major Jones for anything south of the U.S. right now, and it’s tiresome to most who know me, but I’m sorry, this wonderful inland Brazil travel diary does nothing to cure me of it.

Damn it Cuban, am I really supposed to get a date out of this? There is absolutely no block to check for “Men Seeking Men,” or even “Men Seeking Cuban,” let alone “Men Seeking Nowitski.” But I guess if a Mavericks Dancer gets me tickets on the floor for a Spurs game, I’ll buy her dinner afterwards. But nothing more!!! No tongue, no way, no how.

It’s always pretty cool to trace a car’s lineage, and realize there’s some heritage to be had by owning one. The Z Line started with some buggies, and currently end with the Nissan 370Z. (via AutoCar and NissanUSA)

I’m guessing he and I were classmates. I mean we already have “Pepper,” the Lake Highlands High School Class of 1976 Death Anthem, courtesy of the Star Center of our 1976 LHHS basketball team, who went on with me to UT Austin but has now gone on to become the lead singer of “The Butthole Surfers.” Gawd, all we wanted to do was “get f*cked up (Bloc Party,...

Sons of Anarchy - Someone Else Watches!
Damn, it’s about time someone jumped off the Mad Men Season 3 adolation. Don’t get me wrong, Mad Men is quite wonderful, and has been forever, had anyone bothered to watch prior to this season. But it’s infuriating to see a wonderful show like the Sons of Anarchy get buried season after season until the Grey Lady “blesses it.” NYC media is such a clusterfuck of...
